Equipment for electrolytic-plasma polishing from Belarus

The unit is designed for polishing products made of corrosion-resistant steels by the method of electrolytic-plasma (electropulse) polishing, provides an improvement in the quality of polished products by at least 2 classes from the initial state and is used in the following areas:

1. Polishing of stainless and carbon steels, copper and copper-containing alloys, molybdenum, nickel, titanium and other metals and alloys, both for final surface finishing and for surface preparation for subsequent electroplating or coatings using vacuum technologies.

2.Deburring, sharp edge blunting, pickling, degreasing.

3.Polishing household items, stainless steel dishes, jewelry, watch cases, bracelets, elements of sports equipment, handles, buttons, etc.

4. Polishing of engineering products; turbine blades, gears, shafts, bearing cages, sanitary equipment, towel warmers, water and electric radiators, etc.

5. Polishing of medical instruments: surgical, dental, titanium implants for traumatology, metal dentures, elements of bracket systems, artificial heart valves, etc.

6. Restoration of surfaces that have lost their original properties as a result of operation or exposure to adverse external factors, such as decontamination, deburring.

7. The dimensions of the bath of the working module depend on the dimensions of the processed products and are selected or designed individually according to the customer's requirement

8. Power sources for electric pulse polishing installation are supplied with the following capacities: 10, 40, 63, 100, 250, 400, 630, 1000 kW.

The installation is based on the method of electric pulse polishing, which consists in creating a vapor-gas jacket around the workpiece immersed in the electrolyte, and its complex physical and chemical effect on the surface of the product. As a result of this impact, there is a slight metal removal and a decrease in the roughness of the polished surface.
